Profile
Deng Yifeng, Ph. D., Associate Professor, Master's tutor. Now he is the executive director of the Veterinary Surgery Branch and the director of the Veterinary Imaging Technology Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine in 1998, and in the same year he was admitted to the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine of Nanjing Agricultural University for his master's degree. He received his master's degree and retained to work in the university after graduation in 2001. In 2008, he obtained his doctorate in Clinical Veterinary Medicine from Nanjing Agricultural University. In 2011,he went to the Japanese Institute of Livestock and Grassland for short-term visiting and studying .
From 2001, he has been engaged in veterinary clinical teaching and research work, teaching courses in《Veterinary Surgery》, 《Small Animal Surgery》,《Veterinary Imaging》etc, and engaged in animal bone biology and small animal diseases research. He has presided over or participated in more than ten projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the Doctoral Fund and the horizontal project, and published more than 40 papers. He has been involved in the preparation of《Small Animal Surgery》(Monograph, Tutorial), 《Pet Diagnosis and Treatment》 (1st edition, 2nd edition), 《Pet Emergency Handbook》, and participated in the translation of 《An Atlas of Surgery Approaches to the bones and Joints of the Dog and Cat》 (4th edition), 《Small Animal Surgery》(2nd edition).
