Brief introduction:
Our lab was designated as the Reference Laboratory for Swine Streptococcosis by OIE (World Organization for Animal Health) on 13 June, 2013. This laboratory was equipped with advanced experimental hardware and high-level platforms for research on pathogenesis, diagnosis, immunology and prevention of Swine Streptococcosis. We have established several molecular and serological methods for diagnosing the pathogen of this disease. Furthermore, we provide the training courses related to prevention and control of Swine Streptococcosis for veterinarians and students not only from China, but also from other countries in Southeast Asia. In addition, we have built up the cooperation relations with several institutes in Germany, the Netherland, and USA.
