Research Interests

His research focused on the molecular biology and immunology of nematodes such as Haemonchus contortus, Trichinella spiralis, and Caenorhabditis elegans. He was also interested in the protozoa like Toxoplasma gondii and Eimeria. spp of chicken. RNAi, comparative proteomics, transcriptomics and other techniques were applied in studying of the interactions between parasites and the hosts. He has identified some novel genes that could be important in the survival for parasites. To evaluate the functions, these genes were cloned, expressed, and their protective potentialities were evaluated. His results showed that several different ways might be taken by parasites in the evasions.
